Support Roles and Charge Rates:-

Specialist One-to -One Study Skills Support = £55 per hour (No VAT)

Specialist Mentor = £50 per hour (no VAT)

Bio:-

With over 10 years experience as a successful Healthcare Psychology lecturer, module leader and academic supervisor at the University of Leeds, since 2010 I have been providing Specialist Mentoring and Specialist One - to - One Study Skills Support for Higher Education students, at a range of universities (Leeds Trinity, Teeside, Bradford, Derby, York, Leeds Beckett, Keele, and Askham Bryan).

In receipt of Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), my students are individuals with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger Syndrome and challenges of ADHD and mental health. Working with over 45 students, as a Non Medical Helper I have guided them to improve their performance to achieve markedly better results. I have excellent feedback.

My qualifications are Master of Education, BA(Hons) Psychology, Dyslexia Action Training and Professional Development Award (Understanding and Supporting the Needs of Adults with Dyslexia and Co-Occurring Difficulties), and the Open University Module SK124 Understanding the Autism Spectrum. In addition I hold Further and Higher Education Teaching certificates, a Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, and have attended many Leeds University staff development programmes including "Developing People Through Effective Workplace Coaching".

I have delivered many training workshops to Healthcare professionals - in Applied Psychology and Interpersonal skills, and I deliver Dyslexia Awareness training.

My students :- level 4 to completion of level 7 (Masters) in History, Business, Law, Theology, Psychology, Sports Sciences, Land Management, Arbori-culture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Drama-therapy , Art Therapy, Early Years Education, Social Work, Social Care, Media, Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedics, Counselling, Women's Studies, Occupational Therapy.
