Assessment Centres provide the following UK-wide services

Assessment for assistive technology and study strategies and advice on funding for specialist equipment and personal assistance in education, employment.

Training in the use of specialist equipment, software and access strategies.

Advice and guidance for colleges and universities about the teaching and learning strategies tutors can use to ensure access to the curriculum for all their students.

Clients of Assessment Centres include:

• People with sensory and/or physical disabilities.
• People who are dyslexic, dyspraxic, ADHD or have other learning difficulties.
• People with mental health difficulties / mental illness.
• People with long-term medical conditions that might affect ability to participate in education, training or employment.
